Gli Exmortus sono entrati ai Castle Ultimate Studios di Oakland per iniziare a registrare il terzo album con il produttore Zack Ohren (Suffocation, Decrepit Birth, Warbringer). Il batterista Mario Mortus ha dichiarato:
“We’re very excited to start 2013 by recording a new album and getting the opportunity to work alongside Zack Ohren, his resume is outstanding and we can’t think of anyone better to help put out the best Exmortus album possible. We put a lot of work into writing songs that any metalhead would love, they’re fast, heavy and full of shred! This album is going to cave your skull in!”
