La US melodic/symphonic/progressive metal band di New York Awaken ha firmato un contratto con Pure Steel Records.
La band, fondata nel 2009 dall’ex vocalist dei Lazarus Glenn DaGrossa, ha pubblicato il suo debut album omonimo nel 2012. Nel 2019 gli Awaken hanno pubblicato autonomamente il doppio album “Out Of The Shadows”: ora l’album verrà stampato ufficialmente da Pure Steel Records ed uscirà nel 2020. La band ha dichiarato:
“Awaken is proud to be a part of Pure Steel Records Germany. We had offers from 9 labels in 7 countries and we feel that the best deal for us and the best place to call home for Awaken was with Pure Steel. Pure Steel will give Awaken the support that we need, to continue to progress musically and grow as a band.
