Ihsahn annuncia il nuovo album omonimo in uscita il 16 febbraio su Candlelight Records. Nel suo attesissimo ottavo lavoro in studio, il visionario norvegese del progressive metal ha deciso di spingersi oltre i confini dell’espressionismo creativo. L’album verrà infatti presentato in due versioni: una metal e una orchestrale, ed entrambe daranno vita a un capolavoro dalle influenze cinematografiche intitolato semplicemente Ihsahn.
L’artista condivide oggi il primo frenetico singolo “Pilgrimage To Oblivion“, accompagnato dal video girato da Shaun Hodson di Loki Films. La versione orchestrale del brano viene accompagnata invece da un visualizer realizzato da Costin Chioreanu.
