Sunlight : annunciano il nuovo album “Son Of The Sun”

La melodic heavy/power metal band greca Sunlight pubblicherà il suo nuovo album “Son Of The Sun” il 6 dicembre su Total Metal Records, divisione di Metal Scrap Records Inc..

Il tastierista Panos Anastopoulos ha commentato:

“Winter 2019. I was walking to a local bar here in Athens, to meet the guys and sort out the final details for starting the recordings at Devasoundz. It was already past 10 p.m. when I got there. We gathered around, talking about our hopes for the new album and sharing some ideas. But something was missing—the title. We liked the idea of using ‘sun,’ since it came up a lot in the lyrics and song titles. We also agreed that “Son of Fire” would make a strong opener. Then, a title with a playful vibe and a nice ring to it suddenly came to mind. ‘Son of the Sun’ hit the table, sparking excitement and a stronger desire for another round of beers…

Il chitarrista Makis Kaponis aggiunge:

“The writing process for the tracks kicked off a year after “My Own Truth” dropped. I’ll never forget that live show in Sofia, Bulgaria where we played some of the new songs from “Son Of The Sun” for the first time. Even though they weren’t polished yet, the crowd’s positive energy was amazing and fueled my excitement for the new material we were bringing to the next album”.
