Chainsword è una band polacca che suona Old School Death Metal: sporco, pesante e duro, come la vita di un soldato al fronte. La band amava gli anni ’90 musicalmente e nei testi si concentra su Warhammer 40k e su entrambe le guerre mondiali del secolo precedente.
‘Primarch’ è la prima traccia che annuncia l’uscita del nuovo EP dei Chainsword . L’album “Chapter XII” uscirà il 6 maggio 2025. La band ha detto del brano:
‘The track ‘Primarch’ tells the story of Angron, known as the Red Angel, one of the Emperor’s twenty sons. Before being found by the Empire, he grew up in captivity, forced to fight as a gladiator, which shaped his brutal nature. As the Patriarch of the World Eaters, he was fierce and cruel, surpassing all his brothers. During the Horus Heresy, he abandoned the Emperor, giving in to his uncontrollable lust for blood and destruction. Ultimately, he gave his soul to Khorne, the Lord of Skulls, becoming his most powerful champion.’
