Gli emergenti metallers austriaci ZEPTER hanno presentato in anteprima l’ultimo brano di lancio per il loro album di debutto omonimo, in uscita il 20 febbraio 2026 tramite High Roller Records.

ZEPTER è un gruppo nato a gennaio 2024, fortemente ispirato dalla NWOBHM. Pochi mesi dopo è stato pubblicato un EP intitolato “Inferno” su cassetta in edizione limitata di 100 copie tramite Ironbound (una versione in vinile su Fucking Kill Records e una edizione in CD tramite Witches Brew seguirono poco dopo).
Il chitarrista e cantante Lukas descrive l’album di debutto come:
“autentico heavy metal old school, con molti riff orecchiabili e gustose parti di chitarra twin. Dovrebbe sembrare una via di mezzo tra Thin Lizzy e UFO dell’era Schenker, combinata con elementi di speed metal dei primi anni di Acid e Slayer, come se fossero già esistiti nel 1978.”
“Zepter” è stato registrato, mixato e masterizzato presso i Support Nothing Studios da Johnnyfromtherotten. Artwork di Sebastian Frigerio.
